This divergence highlights the diverse approaches to civic engagement and the belief in empowering younger individuals to participate in the democratic process. Additionally, delving into the timeline of women's suffrage revealed a profound evolution in societal values, showcasing the struggles and triumphs women faced in their fight for voting rights. Understanding these historical milestones not only emphasizes the importance of inclusivity in democracy but also encourages a deeper appreciation for the rights we often take for granted today.

I was actually quite surprised at the amount of progressive thinking my class did considering we live in a very conservative state.
